This Thanksgiving my parents flew in from New Jersey. We all headed over to Justin's parents' house. My parents got to meet much of Justin's mom's family, who were all over for the day. You can see Justin and John had a great time putting the turkey in the fryer! It was my first fried turkey and it was delicious! This of course accompanied a traditional turkey, a ham, broccoli casserole, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing, cauliflower soup, and about 10 desserts! Mmmm, mmm, mmm!
Ritter came with us as well and got to play with Stephanie's (Justin's cousin) Maltese Terrier named Toby. Ritter was not quite sure about Toby in the beginning, but after he warmed up to him, they had a blast running around John and Nina's beautiful backyard!
The next day most of the same crowd headed up to wine country for the day and night. We made it to some beautiful places and of course tasted some yummy wine! We capped it off by having an amazing dinner. We had our own room for the 13 of us up there.
It was a great holiday, filled with family, cheer, and of course a lot of great food!
