This summer marked the end of a tradition in the Munoz and Marmer families. Justin and his family have spent a week almost every one of the last 20 summers on a house boat at Lake Powell. Lots of memories have been made and shared among those that made the voyage. I was lucky enough to be part of it twice.
Our trip began with 2 nights at Last Chance Bay where we wake boarded, wake surfed, and floated in the water. There were fireworks as always to cap off one of our evenings. To make it a great trip we motored up to the San Juan Arm and while there was treated to another fireworks show as well as some lightning storms. Since the water and weather was a bit cooler, we took a hike to see the majestic view! After a couple of nights we motored back down to Labyrinth Canyon to spend the last two nights. There was a lot more floating, surfing, and of course the final night's Captain's Log by Mike.
We said our final goodbyes to the Sundancer and headed to Las Vegas for two nights in luxury! We began with a spectacular meal at Bartolota. Justin and I saw Cir du Soleil "O" on Saturday night to cap it all off. Click on any of the pictures above to see our album from the trip.
