Justin and I were lucky enough to be invited by Justin's college friend also named Justin and his girlfriend, Megan, to an event at the Frogs Leap Winery. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted with either Sauvignon Blanc or their pink, which were both fantastic, and a pesto or pepper flatbread. During the appetizers we were treated to a tour of the winery and got to see the amazing grounds of the Frogs Leap organic winery. There were chickens, vegetable gardens, fruit trees, and of course grape vines. It makes for an amazing and beautiful place to be. For dinner, we had a sit down dinner with corn salad, butter lettuce salad, roasted potatoes, grilled salmon, and grilled pork. You can see the pig in the picture above! In addition there was a Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and an '85 Cabernet Sauvignon. Everything was amazing- the food and the wine. Following this great meal, we found a blanket on the lawn to watch 2 short movies. Every place was adorned with a "movie tub" filled with water, flashlights, peanuts, and boxes of candy. We also had local organic ice cream, coffee, hot chocolate, and of course more wine. It was by far one of the most enjoyable events we've ever had.
